Open Drawing Sessions
Bring your sketchbook. Bring a coffee. Bring a friend! We’ll supply the table, chairs, and good vibes at our monthly Open Drawing session. Each session will have a loose theme with creative prompts and/or life drawing props. No experience needed! This is a casual meet-up to enjoy the practice of drawing/ sketching.

Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month, 4:30–6 p.m.
The business side of art can be complicated and confusing. Join us virtually on Google Meet for workshops on a variety of topics relevant for emerging and early-career artists.
Topics have included writing artist bios and statements, what goes into creating a cohesive body of work, and more!

Friday Painters
Each session begins at 9AM and includes a friendly critique and discussion around 11:30. This group meets rain or shine with no makeup days from May – November. Participants must supply their own materials and dress appropriately for the weather.
Friday Painters is a free-to-attend plein air group that has been active since the 1970s — made up of members and friends from the ArtWorks Gallery (Chocorua) and the Mt. Washington Valley Arts Association (North Conway).
