The MWV Arts Association’s Main Street Art Gallery is highlighting the photography of Bob Grant with a reception on Saturday, 17th from 12 to 4pm.
Grant grew up in the valley and has been photographing New Hampshire scenics since 1975. His favorite time to photograph is during the early morning or late afternoon light.
In addition to the MSA gallery, his scenics can be viewed at Flossie’s in Jackson or on his website at BobGrantPhotography.com.
Grant has photographed throughout the United States and Europe. Other memorable photographic expeditions include Alaska, New Zealand, Antarctica, Patagonia South America and trekking to Mt. Everest. His work has been used commercially in the NH Guide Book, local ski areas and valley business brochures as well as sold nationally through his representative in New York.
Included in his work are the Albany Covered Bridge in fall, Eaton Church and Crystal Lake, Tuckerman’s Ravine in winter and the Jackson Covered Bridge lit up for the holidays – all iconic images of the Mt Washington Valley and great souvenirs for visitors.
The public is welcome to meet Bob and enjoy the fine arts gallery. Refreshments will be served. Main Street Art Gallery is located next to Sawyer River Trading Company, behind the MET Coffeehouse, 16 Norcross Circle, North Conway Village. For more information, call 603-356-2787 or go to mwvarts.org
