Barbara Perry

Barbara Perry

Barbara resides in the Mt. Washington Valley and is a juried member of the Mt. Washington Valley Arts Association. She enjoys the outdoors and the natural beauty of where she lives or has visited. While completing a degree in business management at Granite State College in the year 2000, she took her first watercolor class. Since then she has taken watercolor lessons from various instructors in the Mt. Washington Valley. Most recently, she has taken oil painting lessons from Robert Gordon, a local valley artist.

She most enjoys painting local scenes, old barns, bridges and coastlines from Maine to Florida. By capturing these inspiring landscapes and points of interest in both oil and watercolor she fulfills her passion. Whether at home in New Hampshire, the Florida Keys or the Carolina coastline, her passion explodes from her brushes. Her work is detailed and satisfying to view. She says the satisfaction she gets out of completing various scenes is most important.

Her work can be found at the Maine Street Art Gallery and The Met Coffee House, both located in North Conway, NH. Her cards and prints can be found at The Vintage Frame Shop in North Conway, NH and the Remick Museum in Tamworth, NH. Her work is also featured in numerous arts and crafts fairs throughout New England and the Mt. Washington Valley.
