Ernie retired to Bartlett in 2004. He has pared his hobbies down over the years and now concentrates on photography. He started with a 110 mm camera at a tender age, moved on to a 620 mm double lens reflex, 35 mm single lens reflex camera, and now uses digital cameras. His travels took him to several exotic countries, and he enjoys the many possibilities for pictures here in the White Mountains. His work includes panoramas, wildlife, water features, and close up pictures of plants and insects. His work can be found at the Main Street Gallery and occasional craft fairs.
