Pastel Workshop for Beginners

This workshop is intended for artists interested in learning about soft pastels. The first day will cover why pastels, types of pastels, types of paper, safety concerns, mark making and a variety of application techniques with lots of practice. The second class will cover wet vs dry techniques and some quick projects from start to finish.
All supplies will be available for students to use but they are encouraged to bring any pastels supplies they might already have, a mask and some wet wipes. Class size is limited to ten so sign up early.
