The current show at the MET Coffeehouse in North Conway Village is themed “Looking Forward“. The show features nine local and regional member artists with winter themed artworks. Local artists include oil painters Martha Aucoin, Bill Fein, Maryellen Moran, Jerri Swenson and Betty Brown; Local acrylic and watercolorists include Deborah Snow and JP Goodwin. Also featured are the photographs of Elaine Ford. And Sharon Allen is a regional oil and watercolor painter.
All paintings are originals and many depict New England landscapes. The style of these artists varies greatly and spans realism to abstraction. Each has a unique interpretation of the subject, use of color and application of the paint. There is something for everyone to enjoy. All artworks are for sale through the coffeehouse.
The show will run until the 2nd of February. The Metropolitan Coffeehouse is open seven days a week from 7am until 8pm.
