“Warm Glow of the Sun” Summer Art Show at Main Street Art Gallery

Mount Washington Valley Arts Association invites the public for an opening reception with refreshments for their summer exhibit “Warm Glow of the Sun” Saturday July 13, 2024 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Our Art Gallery in North Conway at 16 Norcross Circle in North Conway.

‘Resident artists’ and members will be on hand to chat and answer questions. Fortunate art lovers will find their way to us at our non-profit artist collaborative space filled with fun and creativity.

In the show dozens of artists reflect summer warmth on canvas, print, jewelry and more. Images of mountain tops and lakes, happy faces and far our places.

There are many affordable art pieces, some larger master pieces and there is a lot of jewelry as well as gift cards and crafts and so much more. The show is running till the end of September.

Gallery hours are Thursday to Sunday 11 am until 4 pm.

A new resident artist to the group, Isaac Fluffywolf Radar, is stealing the show with his highly stylized and deep saturation color pallet in his mixed media pieces. Another new resident artist is Jamie Gemmiti who is showing a retrospective collection of carefully composed landscape photos of the white mountains.

In all we have ten “resident artist” in the Warm Glow of Summer show. Each artist with space to show a larger collection. “Resident artists” including Barbara Perry, Sarah Eastman, John Girouard, Don Gemmecke, Rosemary Gerbatavich, Bob Grant, Karen Lord, Sandi Poor, . Several other members show “a few pieces” and some shop items. A wide range of aesthetics and color ranges as well as content and sizes. You’ll see the warm glow of the sun when you visit the gallery.
